Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy of batroxobin and vasodilators in the treatment of sudden deafness and coagulations. Methods Eighty-four patients with sudden deafness admitted to the hospital from 2015 to 2017 were randomLy divided into two groups, with 42 cases in each. The control was treated with vasodilators and the observation group was with batroxobin. Clinical efficacy and changes in coagulation parameters of pre- and post-treatments were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical curative effect of the observation group was higher than that of the control (P<0.05). The prothrombin time, thrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time in the observation group were prolonged than those in the control. The levels of fibrinogen and platelet factorswere found to be lowedin the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion The efficacy of batroxobin treatment in patients with sudden deafness is superior to that of vasodilators, which can effectively improve the coagulation function of patients and is worthy of clinical application.
