Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation between the serum levels of AFP-L3%,CA125,CA199 and IL-6 and HBV induced liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods Forty-five patients with chronic hepatitis B,41 patients with post-hepatitis B cirrhosis and 24 patients with hepatitis B-related liver cancer were selected as the study group, and 30 healthy persons were selected as the control group. Serum levels of AFP-L3%,CA125,CA199 and IL-6 were detected and compared. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of AFP-L3%,CA125,CA199 and IL-6 in chronic hepatitis B group, liver cirrhosis group and liver cancer group were significantly increased (P<0.05). With the development of the disease,AFP-L3% and IL-6 levels in chronic hepatitis B group, liver cirrhosis group and liver cancer group increased gradually. IL-6 (91.67%) was the most sensitive and AFP-L3% (89.66%) was the most specific. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the four combined tests were higher than those of single test. Conclusion sSerum AFP-L3%,CA125,CA199 and IL-6 levels were correlated with liver cirrhosis and canceration caused by hepatitis B,and the combined detection of four serum indicators could improve the diagnostic efficiency of liver cancer B and make up for the defect of single detection.
