Abstract: Objective To improve the quality of blood transfusion science and education, and to train blood transfusion professionals,we have established the teaching system based on education status of blood transfusion medicine in southwest China.Methods 2016-2017 interns as the research object, the interns were divided into 2016 group and 2017 group, 2016 group, in accordance with the school internship teaching outline is complete, in 2017 group according to build the teaching system of teaching, according to the assessment results and the questionnaire result evaluation of effect of the teaching system.Results The assessment results of interns in 2017 group were higher than those in 2016 group. The assessment result at the end of the internship in 2017 was higher than that at the begining of the intership（P<0.05）, with statistically significant differences. The students' knowledge of blood transfusion was improved significantly, and their ability of expression, practical operation and problem analysis were improved.Conclusion The above results show that the students in 2017 group have achieved satisfactory teaching effect. The implementation of this teaching program can make up for the deficiency of blood transfusion education in colleges and universities at present, which has a certain positive effect on promoting the cultivation of blood transfusion professionals.
