Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of a low molecular weight heparin in the treatment of patients with preeclampsia. Methods A retrospective investigation for 290 preeclampsia patients in our hospital was conducted from January to April 2019. These patients were divided into heparin group（190 cases）and control group（100 cases） based on treatment method adopted at the first day postpartum. The differences in general data and blood coagulation parameters between two groups were analyzed. Results Neonatal weight and Apgar score（1 min） in heparin group were lower than those in control group（P<0.05）. In levels of coagulation parameters,only thrombin time,D-dimer and platelet distribution width were different between heparin group and control group before delivery. On postpartum day 1, fibrinogen,platelet count and plateletcrit in heparin group were lower than those in control group,while thrombin time, D-dimer and platelet distribution width were higher（P<0.05）. On postpartum day 3,only D-dimer was different between two groups. Conclusion Low molecular weight heparin used on postpartum day 1 can help patients with preeclampsia to return to normal postpartum coagulation parameters.
