Evaluation Indicators of the Practice Efficiency of Blood Establishment

Abstract

Abstract: As a non-profitable organization that provides services for both blood donors and recipients, blood establishment manufacture blood products. The efficiency of blood establishment involves in the indicators including strategic, productivity, effectiveness, quality and capacity. Evaluation indicators suitable for the efficiency of blood establishment include blood donor recruitment and retention, blood collection and process, blood inventory management, supply chain waste, human resources and financial resources. These indicators help allocation of resources, establish blood collection and supply procedures, and improve the standard operating procedures for blood collection and process to provide a reference for optimizing the staffing and operation efficiency of blood establishment.
