Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect of platelet antibody-positive or negative patients who had received transfusion of compatible platelet. Methods The total of 322 cases of the in-patients from Jan to Dec in 2014 were enrolled. Platelet antibodies were determined by solid-phase agglutination and corrected count increment (CCI value) after 1h and 24h of platelet transfusion were compared, betweenrandom and compatible transfusions The rates of platelet transfusion refractoriness of either platelet antibody positive patients or negative patients, who had been transfused with compatible platelets, were analyzed. Results One hundred and thirty-nine cases(43.2%) of positive platelet antibodies were found in 322 cases of patients with platelet transfusion .The rate of platelet transfusion refractoriness was 18.7% and 3.83% respectively in antibody positive and negative groups. The frequency of positive antibodies was significantly higher than that of the negative patients (P<0.01). For platelet antibody positive patients, the efficiency of compatible platelet transfusion was significantly higher than that of random platelet transfusion(P<0.05).The efficiency was 81.3%. There was no significant difference in diseases (P>0.05). Conclusion Platelet antibodies were detected and platelet matching was processed by solid phase agglutination assay, which can significantly improve the transfusion effect of platelet antibody positive patients.
