Abstract: Objective To validate the applicability of the reference intervals of reticulocyte parameters provided by Sysmex XN3000 to the local adult population. Method sOne hundred and sixty healthy persons were collected for the individual examination of seven item parameters of reticulocytes according to the Reference Intervals of Laboratory Test Items as Professional Standards （WS/T402-2012）,which include absolute value of reticulocytes（Ret#）,percentage of reticulocytes（Ret %）,percentage of hyper-fluorescent reticulocytes（HFR%）,mid-fluorescent reticulocytes （MFR%）,low-fluorescent reticulocytes（LFR%）,immature fluorescent reticulocytes（IRF）,and hemoglobin of reticulocytes （Ret-He）. Results All the persons who received the examinations passed the verification of the 7 items. Conclusion sThe parameters of Ret#,Ret%,LFR%,IRF,and Ret-He were obtained at the same time although the HFR% and MFR% limit to the standard within 10 percent at maximum,suggesting that the standard parameters would be needed for examination of reticulocytes in local adult population.
