ResultsThere were 9 cases of patients who have difficulty in ABO blood type and in critical illness among the 5758 cases of patients with blood transfusion in 2015(accounts for 0.15% of the total number of blood transfusions).Take emergency blood transfusion treatment for those 9 cases. The average input amount of red blood cells was 3 u. Hemoglobin values after blood transfusion were higher than before infusion and no hemolytic transfusion reaction happened. ConclusionThe recommended emergency transfusions under special circumstances of patients who difficult ABO blood type has a strong guiding significance in rescuing practice and can be safely used in clinical emergency blood work.
