Abstract: Objective Further improve the blood safety management level of blood donors and plasma donors in Zhejiang province. Methods On July 2020, a provincial donors interval information sharing system was established to block blood or plasma donation before reaching inter-donation intervals (IDIs). Results Blood stations and plasma stations have unified the sharing standards of blood donors and plasma donors, and realized the IDIs information sharing through query services. Conclusion The establishment of the system reduces the risk of intensive blood donation and plasma donation before reaching IDIs, and further improves the blood donation management and blood safety in Zhejiang province.
